wonderful people and beautiful salon

even though this salon is a little hard to find at first i must say they have been the best so far that i have been too. they greeted me with warm simles and were very helpful when giving me information on the services they offered. i will be coming back. from hair to waxing services and their amazing body treatments, it is amazing how much they offer and at very reasonable prices compaired to the higher end salons. all i have to say is if you are looking for a good atmosphere with enjoyable employees to do your services, this is the place to be pampered. heather, patsy, jessica, betsey, and tammy are very good at the work they do. i loved my experience here and wish i had posted this sooner. i have found the place to do my yearly day of beauty for my birthday. i want to thank the girls for showing me around and thank my friends for refering me here. thanks again.

Eyebrow Massacre

Now, you would think if you're paying $15 plus tip for someone to wax a few hairs off of your face, it would be flawless, right? Well, not at J.R's. I am new to Louisville and I went there thinking that I would get excellent results, especially for the price. The woman they gave me could not have done one eyebrow wax in her life. Because if she had, she wouldn't have taken off 75% of my whole eyebrow when I asked her to just 'clean them up'. I was absolutely livid. Then, after masscred the first eyebrow and showed it to me, and I told her it was ridiculous and she took too much off, she did the other one and took even more off! And after all of that, and having almost NO hair left, they were not even and she didn't even take off the part I wanted her to in the first place. How does that work? So, needless to say, I was absolutely enraged. Oh, and the best part? After she was done with her hack job, she says, " Oh, well, the good thing about eyebrows is they grow back..." Are you kidding me???!!! I should have known, though, because her eyebrows were tattooed on. Figures. I wish it was possible to give a "No Star" rating because that's what they need. The eyebrow services, at least. I wish I could remember her name. Just stay clear of the blonde with the tattooed eyebrows... Signed, Still Waiting For My Eyebrows To Grow Back

All businesses wish they could say 100% every client is super happy with their services. Sometimes communication breaks down. I am happy to say that the young lady is correct hair grows back, I am also very glad she has used us for other waxing services since this review came out. We have been in business 33 years, we are committed to quality and service so when we do have a problem, we strive to fix it.
