Central to Locust Grove is a Georgian mansion, built in 1790 and now filled with furnishings that recall those of the home's first inhabitants, William and Lucy Clark Croghan. Situated on 55 of the home's original acres, guided tours of the mansion are offered, along with a short introductory video and a large gallery and exhibit space, filled with stories about the Revolutionary War, the home's occupants and the exploration of the West. The residence is located a few miles northeast of the city's downtown area, past the Louisville Country Club.

Adults $6; Seniors $5; Children (6-12) $3; Children 5 and under are free.
