The original home of the official bat of the MLB, the Louisville Slugger Museum is housed at the operating factory where these famous bats are still produced. Visitors can tour the factory and learn about the production process, see items and bats from some of the sport's most famous players, hit some balls at the batting cage and see commemorative pieces like the 120-foot-tall baseball bat that stands outside the building, an enlarged replica of the bat used by Babe Ruth. Located in the downtown area of Louisville, the center is beside the Frazier International History Museum and the Louisville Science Center.
Schedule varies, check website for details.
Adults $9; Seniors (60+) $8; Children (6-12) $4; Children 5 and under are free.
