Nicknamed “Conrad’s Castle,” the Conrad-Caldwell House is an excellent example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, exhibiting carved stone, gargoyles, massive arches and fleur-de-lis. The three-story structure’s exquisite interior showcases Victorian furnishings and cherry and birdseye maple trimwork. It is located across the street from Central Park.
