The Louisville Science Center encourages children of all ages to explore the world in which they live through hands-on exhibits relating to the natural sciences, the life sciences and the creative experience. "The World We Create" demonstrates the uses of math, science and technology in everyday life while "The World WIthin Us" teaches visitors about how the human body operates, and what can help and what can harm it. Also offering an IMAX theater and special live presentations, the downtown museum is situated near the Louisville Slugger Museum and the Frazier International History Museum.
Open Mon. - Thurs. 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Fri. - Sat. 9:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Sun. noon - 6:00 p.m.
